Hey everybody, Ryan here at Etrailer. Today on our 2021 Ford Ranger, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 trailer brake controller. And we're gonna be doing this in conjunction with the CURT custom fit T-connector 7 way vehicle wiring harness. But before we get into all that, let's just take a couple of minutes, check this out, make sure it's gonna work for you and we'll talk about some of the things and how to figure out what you're gonna need to actually set up a brake controller on your truck. If you're looking to get a brake controller set up and installed on your Ford Ranger and you've got a factory seven-way already at the back, this is going to be the quickest and easiest way to get a brake controller for your trailer up and running because the installation couldn't be any easier. To install the CURT Echo, we're going to lower down the opening for our seven-way connector. We're going to plug in the CURT Echo and our installation's complete. We're ready to hook up our trailer and begin our journey.We're going to go ahead and plug in our trailer. Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2001 Ford Ranger- Video
Today on our 2001 Ford Ranger, we're going to install part number 39510. This is the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller. To help us with our install, we'll be using 2 other part numbers. We'll also be using part number ETBC7, the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers, and also a bracket to mount our 7-Pole Connector. This will be part number 18136. We'll start off with that part number. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2008 Ford Ranger- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford Ranger we're going to be installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part number 90195 along with the etrailer brake controller install kit part number ETBC7. To start we'll first go ahead and assemble the 7-pole adapter bracket. With the hardware provided we'll use it to attach the bracket to the 7-pole adapter. We'll go ahead and take the bracket and feed it over the wires and up to the back of the mounting surface for the 7-pole adapter. Then we'll take the screws, feed them through the front side of the 7-pole and secure it with the nuts on the backside. Once we have all four in place we'll go ahead and tighten them down. Now once we have the bracket mounted to help secure our wires and clean up our install look we're going to go ahead and tape it up here until we get to the 4-pole connector. Using some black electrical tape, it'll help bundle it up and protect our wires. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2011 Ford Ranger- Video
Today in our 2011 Ford Ranger we are going to be installing the Prodigy P2 Brake controller, part number 90885 in conjunction with the ETBC7 wiring kit for our new simple harness which will be mounted with the no drill bracket from Draw-Tite, part number 18136. To begin our installation we are going to start here at the back of the vehicle. Go ahead and wire up our bracket and start running our new duplex cable to the front of the vehicle. As you can see this vehicle is already equipped with a four pole harness. Before we can install our seven-pole well need to go ahead and attach the mounting bracket. Well use some supplied hardware then once we get all four fasteners in position well go ahead and tighten them down. more
